Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 3, 2026
The controller of your data is Andrii Salionov, sole proprietor (FOP), Ukraine. Contact: support@lekcio.com.
What we collect
- Teachers: email (to sign in), name, school and subject if you add them; your classes; payment history (amount, date, period). With Google sign-in we receive only your email and name.
- Students: the first name a student types when joining a class; an optional PIN (stored only as a hash); a device identifier; progress and results in lessons, courses and trainers. We do not need or collect students’ email addresses or phone numbers.
- Payments: Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, processes payments and your billing details under its own privacy policy. We receive the payment status, amount and the email used for the order.
- Technical data: a session cookie (teacher sign-in) and a student device cookie; your country, to show the right version of the site (not stored).
Why we use it (legal basis)
To provide the service you ask for — sign-in, the dashboard, showing students’ results to their teacher, Pro access (performance of a contract); to keep the service secure (legitimate interests); and to meet tax and accounting duties (legal obligation). We do not sell personal data and do not show ads.
Who processes data for us
- Cloudflare — website hosting and database;
- Resend — sending sign-in codes by email;
- Google — if you choose Google sign-in;
- Paddle — payments, receipts, taxes and refunds.
Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States, under their standard data protection terms.
Cookies and analytics
We use only cookies that the site needs to work (sign-in and the student device). Visits are counted with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not track you across sites.
How long we keep data
For as long as the teacher account exists. A teacher can remove a student or a class at any time; on request we delete the account and all related data. Payment records are kept as long as tax law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, object to processing or withdraw consent — write to support@lekcio.com. If you are in the EU or the UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Children
Students use Lekcio through a class code given by their teacher. We do not collect children’s contact details, and children do not make purchases — only an adult can buy Pro.
